Simuka Africa Youth has created safe spaces for children to access mental health and social support, such as counseling, talent identification, mentoring and homework tutoring.

We established a community library at the Norton Vocational Training Centre with the assistance from the Book Feeding Project and the All the Sky Foundation. Here, the Simuka Africa Staff processes a book donation.

The Norton Library encourages a culture of reading, researching and learning among young people from Norton. In addition, the project also empowers girls at risk of child marriage by providing life skills training, educational options, and career advancement.
The Norton Library was built with the assistance of the Norton Town Council. It currently holds:
The Library has more than 10, 000 books.
More than 100 youth and adults are accessing library services per day. Activities such as talent shows, community volunteering, mentorship, coaching, career guidance, reproductive Health awareness and educational assistance also take place.
Simuka Africa also established Girls Club, Boys Club and Reading Clubs at the library. In the surrounding rural communities, we distribute books and learning materials.
Many thanks to Libraries For All and All The Sky Foundation for developing the original library project idea and financing the construction, equipping and library activities on behalf of Simuka Africa.
Our current partners recognize the demand for library facilities and services are increasing against a background of limited space and diminished community opportunities. This places an emphasis on the necessity of expanding.

Simuka Africa plans to construct a bigger library infrastructure that caters for up to 300 young people per day from the current 100 young people per day. This will achieved after fundraising initiatives to raise the estimated US $150,000 needed to complete the construction of the library. We also seek to:

We already know literacy and education are proven methods that break poverty cycles and increase the standard of living in Zimbabwe. The use of Artificial Intelligence training at The Norton Library will provide additional marketable skills for career advancement as this technology becomes standardized globally.
For example, this graphic is AI Art created by volunteer staff member Adithya Muralidharan. Learning how to create similar graphic design will help our Zimbabwean youth stay competitive with global advances. So we're asking you to imagine a world where our youth are limitless in a sustainable world. Let's take the first steps together!

Computer literacy, Internet proficiency, and A.I. programming are all critical aspects of career development.
This graphic is another example of AI Art that has been created by staff member Adithya Muralidharan. With this program, we are looking to equip the next generation of bright minds to find the solutions we need to the crises we have not yet imagined.
